Welcome to NHS Conferences and NHS Courses for Paediatric Services
All of our Paediatric Service NHS courses provide an opportunity to hear about and discuss key topics through case study driven presentations given by a host of innovative trusts who share their experiences and practical advice. Our Paediatric Service NHS conferences enable you to identify new ideas, reassess and reinforce new and current plans to drive forward your service.
Our NHS Conferences will bring you together with Paediatric, Nurses, Clinicians, Consultants Ward and Service Managers from trusts and community services from across the country and will provide you with a unique networking platform and provide time out in a productive environment which will equip you with new approaches, motivation and contacts.
Featuring in 2017/2018 are:
'Paediatric Integrated Models of Care' NHS conference will share insights through presentations from a host of experienced speakers. There will be guidance shared on overcoming the challenges for building integrated care, Children’s Assessment Units and for working with primary care, urgent and emergency care and parents.
'Practicalities of Paediatric Non-Medical Prescribing' NHS conference will cover key issues for all aspiring, recently qualified or established paediatric NMPs including implementing national updates, working ethically, legally and within professional boundaries, improving service efficiency and supporting and developing the role.
When 'Managing Mental Health in Paediatric Acute Care' is becoming increasingly more important for all Paediatric services, attend this event to hear best practice advice and evidenced guidance so that you are fully prepared in your service. Focusing on crisis care, risk assessment, staffing, innovative roles and new communication models.
'Practicalities for Delivering Long Term Ventilation' is an important area for all paediatric intensive care services when the number of patients and cost to PICUs is rapidly rising. Attend this day, held in collaboration with the Paediatric Intensive Care Society to hear from the experts and key players for LTV across the country.
If you are new in 'The Role of the Nurse Associate' or looking to implement it into your trust then this NHS course will help attendees to get to grips with the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of the role. Hear from Nurse Associates already in post, with best practice advice, insight into what it is that they do and how Nurse Associates can help to support your paediatric services.
'Developing your Paediatric High Dependency Unit' will bring together experts and knowledge leaders and will be held in collaboration with the Paediatric Intensive Care Society.
Each NHS conference is researched directly with potential attendees to identify what should be included and how each topic could be covered. By building in case studies, discussion, best practice advice and interactive time into each programme, the aim is to strengthen NHS professionals’ knowledge and confidence. When you can go back to your workplace with an enhanced understanding and an accurate benchmark of where your service is and where you want to be, we know the event has succeeded.
